Emma qualified as a Music Therapist in 2021 and specialises in working with children and young people. For the last 20 years Emma has worked as a music practitioner for primary and secondary schools. She has been involved in a variety of projects over the years including world music roadshows, song writing projects and has always seen music as a therapeutic tool to support pupils in all of her settings.
Emma’s clinical experience includes working within mainstream primary, secondary and alternative provision settings, children within special schools, adults with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and adults with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

– Heighten self-awareness and awareness of others
– Enhance self-esteem and foster resilience
Music therapy is particularly effective for children and young people who are struggling to express thoughts and feelings verbally or facing communication barriers.
